BAITADI: Two persons have been arrested in Baitadi for possession of drugs including cannabis.
Police arrested Suresh Bista, 30, of Surnaya Rural Municipality-5, Rawleshwor, and Prakash Bista, 25, of the same place.
A team of police arrested them while they were coming towards Surnaya-5 on a motorcycle from Surnaya-6 Shankarpur.
According to Baitadi Police Spokesperson Inspector Darshan Khadka, 700 grams of cannabis was found with them.
Police recovered 700 grams of cannabis in Suresh’s bag while he was riding a motorcycle.
The seized hashish, motorcycle, and both are in police custody.
