Petrol price hiked by Rs 2 per liter



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs two per liter with effect from Tuesday midnight.

The retail price of petrol in Kathmandu will be Rs 118 per liter after the price hike. Similarly, the price of diesel and kerosene will be Rs 101 per liter from tonight.

The corporation adjusts the price on the 1st and 16th of the English month. The corporation has stated that the price of petrol has been increased as per the purchase price list received from Indian Oil Corporation on March 16.

The prices of aviation fuel and LPG remained unchanged, the corporation said.
