Sitaula rules out NC support to PM Oli on govt formation

SAPTARI: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula has reiterated that his party would not lend support to CPN-UML Chair KP Oli to lead the government.

Speaking at a program organized by Saptari Chapter of Nepal Press Union Tuesday, Sitaula said that PM Oli has lost both moral and political ground to rule the country anymore.

“Incumbent government has lost both the moral and political ground to be in power anymore,” he said in the program, adding, “NC will form the government with support from CPN-Maoist Center and Janata Samajbadi Party.”

He added that the parties were working on it.

According to Sitaula, the nation will get a new government by mid-April.
