Four killed in jeep accident in Sindhuli



KATHMANDU: Four persons died on the spot in a jeep accident in Sindhuli Tuesday evening.

The vehicle went out of control and plunged 50 meters below the road in Kamalamai Municipality-7, District Police Office said.

The deceased have been identified as Rudra Bahadur Thapa, Rita Ismali, Durga Shrestha, and two-year-old Manish Shrestha.

All the injured, including driver Bhoj Bikram Thapa, were rushed to Sindhuli District Hospital for treatment.

As many as 11 persons were traveling in the jeep.

Police informed that the condition of the driver was critical and preparation was underway to take him to Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment.
