PM Oli urged to attend conclave as chief guest

KATHMANDU: The Nepal-Khanal faction of the ruling CPN-UML has asked Prime Minister and party Chair KP Oli to join party’s national conclave as a chief guest.

Speaking at a press meet organized to inform about the party’s national conclave, UML Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai invited PM Oli to join the conclave as a chief guest of the program.

“We heard that PM Oli has asked his faction to spy on the program; we are open enough to welcome him as a chief guest of the conclave,” leader Bhattarai said, adding, “There is no need to recruit sycophants to observe the program in guise.”

Responding to PM Oli’s threat of taking action against the people who attend the conclave, Bhattarai said his faction is ready to face any action.

“We are ready to face any action if you dare to do so, however, it should be kept in mind that history will judge all such actions mercilessly,” he said ahead, warning, “There will be no one to shed tears for you at that critical hour.”
