Kathmandu Valley sees 47 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 47 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 37 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, four in Bhaktapur, and six in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 105 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,72,945 in the country as of Tuesday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that the country has currently 1,587 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, 99 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,69,303 people recovered from the coronavirus infection.

Similarly, no additional deaths connected to COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, keeping the country’s death toll to 2,055.
