KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two persons for allegedly insulting Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during an anti-government protest in Pyuthan.

The arrested are Punram Khatri, leader of Nepal Students Union, a sister organization of Nepali Congress, and Sagar GM, an activist.

According to DSP Sunil Malla of the District Police Office, Pyuthan, the two were taken into custody after receiving a verbal petition alleging obscene slogans.
