People will take to the streets against court if it uploads House dissolution: Dr. KC

KATHMANDU: Medical education activist Dr. Govinda KC has said the people will take to the streets against the Supreme Court (SC) if it uploads the dissolution of the Parliament by Prime Minister KP Oli.

Addressing a civil movement organized at Maitighar on Saturday, KC said that everyone’s hopes are now dependent on the apex court and if the court upholds the dissolution, the people will take to the streets.

Dr. KC also said that the decision of Prime Minister to dissolve the Parliament was unconstitutional arguing that we had voted for a stable government.

He added that he wouldn’t remark much as the case is currently sub-judice at the apex court.
