We are still in favor of party unity: Subas Nembang

KATHMANDU: Former Speaker and leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) KP Oli faction Subas Nembang has said that they are still in favor of party unity.

“We have not taken any action against any leaders. We are still in favor of unity,” leader Nembang said while addressing a Province 1 cadres’ gathering.

Nembang also said that Prime Minister Oli was not allowed to work for the duration of his tenure even though the people had sent him for a five-year term.

He also clarified that the problems and compulsions have come while the government was working on behalf of the permanent government and the people.

Nembang claimed that the incumbent government is not a caretaker government.

“The government can do everything now. This is not a caretaker government, “he claimed.
