NC is ‘worn out’ party, says UML Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has remarked that the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) was a ‘shabby’ party.

Addressing a program organized in Dhankuta, the UML chair expressed his ire at leaders of the then Nepal Communist Party (NCP) for backing the NC by overthrowing his two-thirds government.

“The NC is an old and senile party. Can you imagine those who followed the NC by overthrowing their two-thirds government?” He wondered. He added the leaders joining the UML would not have to regret their decision.

Claiming the UML would realize the dream of martyrs, Oli said the party would develop the nation as soon as it gets the chance.
