National Land Commission formed, two office bearers appointed



KATHMANDU: The government has formed the National Land Commission 2021 and appointed two office-bearers.

A cabinet meeting held Tuesday appointed Keshav Niraula as the Chairman and Mahendra Khadka as the Vice Chair of the National Land Commission.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Janak Raj Joshi said that the newly appointed chair and vice chair were sworn in on Wednesday. Other office bearers are yet to be appointed.

The government had recently dismissed the Devi Gyawali-led Land-related Problem Resolution Commission.
