Road accident injures nine in Birendranagar

KATHMANDU: Nine persons have been injured in a road accident in Birendranagar on Wednesday morning.

A medium-sized vehicle (No. 1 Kha 2574) heading to Surkhet-Jumla met with an accident.

According to DSP Ram Prasad Gharti, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Surkhet, the accident took place at Radio Nepal Chowk in Birendranagar, after the vehicle went out of control.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the provincial hospital in Birendranagar.
