Nepal improves in ODI ranking



KATHMANDU: Nepal has improved its standing in the International Cricket Council (ICC) ranking by one place.

In the new ranking issued on Tuesday by ICC Nepal has climbed one step to the 15th position. Before this, Nepal was in the 16th position.

Nepal’s ranking has improved after it defeated the USA in the match held on Monday under the triangular one-day series of ICC World Cup Cricket League-2.

Nepal, which is currently in Oman visit, had won the one-day series in two matches played against Papua New Guinea before it played against the USA.

New Zealand is at the top of the ODI ranking and England is in second place.

Similarly, Australia ranks third, India fourth, and South Africa fifth.
