KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) party is holding its first central committee (CC) meeting is on September 21, the party said.
The central meeting of the newly formed party led by Madhav Kumar Nepal will convene to expand the party and to formulate a necessary strategy for the party to act on the contemporary political situation, it said.
The meeting slated to take place on Tuesday has been rescheduled for September 21 for lack of homework for the same, according to the CPN (Unified Socialist).
This is going to be the maiden central committee of the party that had split from CPN-UML due to its differing ideological viewpoints.
Standing Committee, secretariat, province in-charges and some departments have been formed for the party while preparations were afoot to set up sister organizations and laborers’ wings among others.
The youngest Leftist party in the country has also formed students’ wings and an announcement for the press wing is expected soon.
