Three days after the abrupt ending of NA, Deuba calls for its new session

KATHMANDU: Newly Minister KP Oli had ended the ongoing session of the National Assembly after being dethroned by Supreme Court verdict.

CPN-UML Chairman Oli who dissolved the House of Representatives twice within six months had deliberately altered the session schedule of the two houses of the bicameral parliament. As a result, sometimes the parliament turned sans business whereas in other times the parliament the bills which had to be passed from both houses got stuck in the houses.

The session of the National Assembly will now sit with the House of Representatives on July 18.
