Nepse increases by 11.33 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (Nepse) has increased by 11.33 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2883.38 points.

A total of 58.50 million shares of 223 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 8.14 billion.

Shares of nine companies increased banking, finance, hydropower, microfinance, mutual funds, non-life insurance, and trade subgroups increased more than 5 percent today.

Shares of Ngadi Power Group increased the most at 9.40 percent, while the debentures of the Agriculture Development Bank shrunk 10.90 percent.

Investors of Rarang Hydropower and Ganapati Micro Finance received high returns from the market along with Ngadi on Thursday.

Shares of Gorkha Finance Company worth more than Rs 366.1 million were bought and sold on Thursday.
