Lawmakers to undergo PCR test on Friday

KATHMANDU: The Federal Parliament Secretariat is conducting PRC tests on lawmakers of both the House of Representatives and the National Assembly on Friday.

According to Rojnath Pandey, the spokesperson of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, PCR tests will be carried out on lawmakers on Friday.

The date has been fixed following the consultation with the Ministry of Health and Population. The PCR tests will begin from 10 am and will last until 4 pm.

Around 700 people including lawmakers, staffers of the parliament, secretariat members will undergo antigen tests, said Pandey.

The cabinet is making preparations to recommend the President to summon a meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) at 5 pm on July 18.
