KATHMANDU: Ten people have sustained injuries in a jeep accident in Salyan district.
The condition of jeep driver Dinesh Budhathoki among those injured is said to be critical.
The accident occurred when an ill-fated jeep, Lu 2 Cha 1672, was heading to Darma rural municipality-3, Majhgaun from Bagchaur municipality, Tharmare on Wednesday night.
The injured are undergoing treatment at a health post based in Pharula, said Police Inspector Arjun Paudel, the spokesperson of the District Police Office, Salyan.
The accident took place at Kafalgaira, according to Paudel. Driving under the influence of alcohol is suspected behind the accident.
