UML’s Karnali PP decides to vote against  CM Shahi’s policies and programs

Three UML ministers abstain PP meeting



SURKHET: CPN-UML’s parliamentary party (PP) of Karnali province has decided to vote against the policy and program brought by Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi’s government.

According to UML’s Chief Whip for the province assembly Gulab Jung Shah, Tuesday’s PP meeting decided to vote against the policy and program to be presented in the parliament today.

Formerly dismissed lawmaker Prakash Jwala had also attended the PP meeting comprising UML’s Chairman Oli faction’s majority.

However, three UML ministers in CM Shahi’s cabinet did not join the party’s PP meeting.

Earlier, UML’s Karnali PP had dismissed four lawmakers including Jwala from the party. Three of them Ammar Bahadur Thapa, Kurma Raj Shahi and Nanda Singh Budha  are still in CM Shahi’s cabinet.
