Landslide obstructs Pokhara-Baglung section of Madhya Pahadi Lokmarg



KUSHMA: The landslide at Kushma-1, Sahasradhara, Pang has obstructed the Pokhara-Baglung section of Madhya Pahadi Lokmarga since Monday evening.

According to Traffic Police Office Kushma, the landslide that obstructed the on the Monday afternoon has totally blocked the road from Monday evening.

“Even a small rainfall when it comes persistently causes landslide here. Last year also this section was obstructed many times,” Krishna Bahadur Khadka, Sub-Inspector Krishna Bahadur Khadka said, adding, “Little rain is enough to bring the gags, mud and stones to the road causing obstruction in the movement.”

Using the excavators, the authority had cleared the road on the Monday afternoon, but the massive slide obstructed it from Monday night again.
