New academic session begins from today



KATHMANDU: The new academic session has started across the country from today.

The academic session has begun after publishing results based on the international evaluation of students up to grade 10.

Director General Baikuntha Aryal of Center for Education and Human Resource Development informed that secondary level schools will start new admissions from today through online, telephone or any other alternative means.

The schools have been directed to complete admission processes and provide text books by June 29.

Following admissions, they have to give continuity to teaching activities through online and alternative means.

The schools have to use alternative means such as online, radio, television to carry out teaching activities until the COVID-19 subsides, said Director General Aryal.
