NSL: Kathmandu wins maiden title

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Rayzrs defeated Dhangadhi FC to win the maiden title of Khukri Nepal Super League football championship.

In the final match held at Dasarath Stadium this evening, Kathmandu defeated Dhangadi by 1-0 to win the NSL.

A goal from Kathmandu striker Messouke Oloumou in the 21st minute of the first match saw them through to the coveted title.

The match was played in an empty stadium considering the second wave of the Corona Virus pandemic that has hit the country severely.
