KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister of New Zealand Helen Clark has appealed to all to help Nepal in its battle against COVID-19.

Sharing a New York Times story about the raging coronavirus situation in India and Nepal on Twitter Saturday, noting that Nepal has a failing health care system in place, Clark elucidates the need to extend help, including vaccine supply.

Clarke served as New Zealand’s prime minister from 1999 to 2008, and also held senior positions in the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). She was the UNDP Administrator from 2009 to 2017.
