KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed grief over the demise of Nirmala Gachchhadar, the wife of former Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar.
Taking to Facebook, President Deuba said he has been deeply afflicted by the sudden and untimely demise of Nirmala Gachchhadar and expressed sincere tributes to the departed soul and condolences to the grief-stricken family.
“I have been deeply saddened by the demise of Nirmala Gachchhadar. I would like to express sincere tributes to the departed soul and condolences to the grief-stricken family,” reads the Facebook status.
Nirmala passed away in the course of treatment at Thapathali-based Norvic International Hospital this morning.
