NAC’s airbus flying to Beijing to fetch oxygen cylinders today

KATHMANDU: A wide body airbus of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is flying to Beijing to bring the second lot of oxygen cylinders on Saturday.

The NAC’s wide body airbus will fly to China today evening.

The NAC airbus will bring 400 oxygen cylinders and 400 oxygen concentrators.

Earlier, the NAC’s wide body airbus had brought 400 oxygen cylinders, 170 oxygen concentrators and 10 ventilators from northern neighbor on May 11.

Similarly, an airbus of the NAC has flown to Muscat, the capital city of Oman, to bring oxygen cylinders this morning.

The Nepali Embassy in Oman has collected 600 oxygen cylinders with the help of the Non-Resident Nepali Association.

With the COVID-19 cases increasing in Nepal, both the private and government hospitals are running out of medical goods and oxygen cylinders, of late.
