Woman succumbs to coronavirus in Biratnagar



BIRATNAGAR: A woman has succumbed to coronavirus at the Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar on Thursday.

The woman, 46, died while undergoing treatment at the hospital, according to the hospital.

The woman was referred to the Koshi Hospital for further treatment after she tested positive for COVID-19 at the Nobel Hospital.

The woman’s condition was serious when she was admitted to the hospital.

Her husband, who has also been diagnosed with coronavirus, is undergoing treatment at Koshi Hospital.

As many as 179 active cases have been reported in Province 1 as of Wednesday evening.
