COVID-19: India records 199,569 infections, 1,037 deaths in past 24 hrs

NEW DELHI: India recorded 199,569 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 14,070,890.

Currently, 1,471,592 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 12,426,146 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 172,000-mark.

With 1,037 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 173,152, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
