UML leader Gautam to hold meeting of his group Tuesday

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Bam Dev Gautam has called a meeting of his faction to expedite the party unification campaign.

The meeting to be held at a party palace in Bhalkhu at 11 am tomorrow will discuss Prime Minister Oli’s recent move to strip UML leaders of their responsibilities in the party.

Prime Minister Oli had on last Friday (March 12) nominated 23 former Maoist Center leaders to the central committee of the CPN-UML, after taking actions against UML leaders in the party.

Gautam is continuing his unification campaign even after the Supreme Court restored the erstwhile CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center), scrapping their unification as the Nepal Communist Party.
