Kathmandu Valley sees 73 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 73 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 60 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, three in Bhaktapur, and 10 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile,  Nepal recorded a total of 122 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,72,840 in the country as of Monday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that the country has currently 1,581 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, 144 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,69,204 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, one more person succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death tally to 2,055.
