Two Nepalis die of coronavirus in UK



KATHMANDU: Two more Nepalis abroad succumbed to the coronavirus pandemic last week.

According to the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), two people have died of the infection in the UK.

With deaths, the death toll of Nepalis in foreign land succumbing to the pandemic has reached 335.

According to the Coordinator of the NRNA Health Committee Sanjeev Sapkota, the infection has been confirmed in 60,121 Nepalis in 50 countries.

Of the total infected, 58,432 have recovered so far.

According to the Health Committee, more Nepalis in Australia, Spain, the UK, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia have been infected with the coronavirus in the past week.
