PM Cup: TAC sets 288-run target for Gandaki



KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) has set a 288-run target for Gandaki Pradesh in the first math of the Prime Minister Cup Men’s Cricket Tournament underway at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur on Friday.

Electing to bat first after winning the toss, TAC notched up 287 runs losing six wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

Captain Binod Bhandari hit a century studded with nine fours and three sixes off 72 balls.
Similarly, Raju Rijal made 45 runs including four fours and one six off 71 balls, Lokesh Bam hit 42 runs while Rajesh Pulami contributed 38 runs.

In reply, Gandaki’s Bishal Paudel and Bipin Khatri grabbed two wickets each while Dipesh Khatri and Chandra Paudel took one wicket each of TAC.
