Bagamati CM Pandey expands cabinet

Three Ministers from Maoist Center and two Ministers and one State Minister from Unified Socialist inducted into govt



KATHMANDU: Bagmati Chief Minister Rajendra Pandey on Tuesday expanded the cabinet.

Three ministers from the CPN-Maoist center and three minister, including one state minister, from the CPN-Unified Socialist Party have been inducted into the provincial government.

According to the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers of Bagmati Province, Maoist Center’s Ghanshyam Dahal was appointed the Minister of Labor, Employment and Transport, Bishal Khadka the Minister of Forest and Environment and Ratna Prasad Dhakal the Minister of Youth and Sports.

Similarly, Basanta Manandhar is Minister for Drinking Water, Energy and Irrigation, and Basundhara Humagain the Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development from the Unified Socialist.

Indramaya Gurung is given responsibility of the Minister of State for Agriculture and Livestock Development.

In Bagmati Province, the number of ministries has been increased from 8 to 14.
