NEPSE increases by 6.01 percent

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 6.01 percent on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

The market has increased by 137.18 points today. With today’s increment, the index has reached 2418.84 points.

A total of 4.08 million shares of 220 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 1.82 billion

On Tuesday, the share value of 43 companies up by 10 percent, and three companies gained by 9.99 percent.

Similarly, the share prices of 24 companies have increased by more than 9 percent.

Likewise, 14 companies have increased by more than 8 percent, 25 companies by more than 7 percent. The market closed for 40 minutes after rising 5.01 percent in the first two hours of trading.

Earlier, the market had closed down by 79.23 points on Monday. The market had dropped to 2281.67 points on Monday.

Earlier, the market had closed at 2361.27 points, down 88.70 points on Sunday.
