NC Update: Bal Krishna Khand holds a meeting with Prakashman Singh

KATHMANDU: With both Sher Bahadur Deuba and Shekhar Koirala failing to get the majority votes, Home Minister and Nepali Congress leader Bal Krishna Khand held talks with another presidential aspirant, Prakash Man Singh, today.

Khand reached Singh’s residence in Chaksibari on Tuesday morning and discussed a possible alliance in the second round of voting.

In response, Singh said he would first discuss the matter of supporting Deuba with his aides.

Sher Bahadur Deuba and Shekhar Koirala will be contesting for the party top post in the second round of elections.

Both Deuba and Koirala need to work with Prakash Man Singh and Bimalendra Nidhi, who are in third and fourth place, to win the election.
