Banke records 3 deaths from COVID-19 in 2 days

RANJA: Three people have died of COVID-19 at the Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj in the past two days.

A 45-year-old woman of Badhayatal Rural municipality-4, Bardiya undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital died last night. She was admitted two days ago and died at 10:30 pm last night, said resource persons of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center, Banke, Tej Oli.

According to him, the patient was admitted to Bheri Hospital on November 11 after the corona infection was confirmed during a PCR test.

Also on Saturday, a 77-year-old man from Lamkichuha municipality-5, Kailali died at 3.20 pm while a 45-year-old woman from Dang died in the morning while undergoing treatment at the Hospital, Oli said.

With this, so far 431 people coming to Banke for treatment from outside the district have died.
