KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to hold the 14th general convention in November, shifting the convention slated earlier for September 1-4 by almost three months.
NC central member Min Bishwakarma said the Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting held Saturday decided to shift the date and hold the central general convention from November 25 to 29.
The CWC meeting fixed August 18 as the new deadline for submitting the final list of active members. Similarly, election guidelines will also be finalized on the same day.
Likewise, ward conventions are slated for September 3, village and town conventions for September 12, provincial constituency conventions for September 1, federal constituency conventions for September 21, district conventions for September 26, and provincial conventions for October 27 to 29.
