NC calls office-bearers’ meeting at 2 pm Thursday



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of office-bearers.

NC Central Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel said the meeting was slated for 2 pm Thursday, however, the location for the meeting was yet to be fixed. He added former office-bearers were also invited.

Chief Secretary Poudel said discussions would be held regarding the general convention, formation of the cabinet and work of the government at the office-bearers’ meeting.

Deuba was appointed PM Tuesday and he had picked two ministers from his party and two others from the Maoist Center. Currently, there are four ministers in Deuba cabinet.
