Prohibitory order extended till July 30 in Doti

DOTI: Prohibitory order imposed in the Doti district from May to prevent and control COVID-19 has been extended till July 30.

A meeting of the District COVID Crisis Management Centre held today decided to extend the prohibitory order as there is still a risk of coronavirus infection in the district.

Chief District Officer Sunil Khanal said that action would be taken against those defying prohibitory orders, creating an artificial crisis in the supply of medicines, medical supplies, essential goods and services, and price hikes.

The DCCMC has allowed operating public vehicles inside the district and opening shops from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Similarly, a decision has been taken to allow banks and financial institutions from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm by following health safety protocols while development construction activities and vehicles used for development construction could be operated by adopting health safety guidelines.

Operation of hotels, saloons, restaurants, gym halls, beauty parlors, and inter-district public transport has been restricted during prohibitory order.
