KATHMANDU: Outgoing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chairman of CPN-UML, is leaving his official residence Baluwatar Wednesday.

Oli is leaving Baluwatar almost after three and a half months for his private residence Balkot in Bhaktapur.

He is being escorted to Balkot by sister organizations, National Youth Association Nepal (NYAN), from Baluwtar at 11 am, sources have said.

Preparations are underway to escort Oli in a motorcade involving 2,000 cars and 3,000 motorcycles in the coordination of UML central member Mahesh Basnet.

Oli has already been bidden adieu from Singha Durbar already.

Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba was appointed as the Prime Minister in line with Article 76 (5) of the Constitution Tuesday after the Supreme Court issued a mandamus to appoint him as the Prime Minister Monday.
