NC President Deuba appeals for needful support to help battle Covid-19 pandemic



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has appealed to neighboring nations and international organizations to provide needful support to help contain the soaring Covid situation in the country.

Issuing a press statement Friday, noting that there was unprecedented rise in COVID-19 cases and deaths from the diseases, he drew the attention of the government towards the need of proactive management of hospitals, oxygen plants, vaccines and necessary health supplies, across the country.

He accused the government’s apathy towards the plight of citizens of the country who were dying for want of treatment.

He also urged all and sundry, including NC rank and file, to extend assistance to the needy by abiding by health safety protocols.
