Leaders of two UML factions kick off talks in Singha Durbar



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal have begun talks to resolve differences between the two factions in Singha Durbar Friday evening.

The talks is being held in presence of second-rung leaders of the both factions of the party at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

The two leaders of the factions, in one-to-one talks, had decided to take the party status close to May 16, 2018, and form a task force to achieve that end.

UML leaders Ishwar Pokharel, Bishnu Poudel, Subash Nemband and Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ are attending from PM Oli camp and leaders Bhim Rawal, Surendra Pandey, Gokarna Bista and Raghuji Pant are from the Nepal camp.
