Nepal records 8,520 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 3,369 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 8,520 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 2,458 persons in Kathmandu, 556 in Lalitpur, and 355 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for the pandemic virus in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 6,135 persons have returned home after complete health recovery from COVID-19.

Likewise, The Ministry shared that 203 new fatalities were added to the existing death toll from the coronavirus infection.

With the adjustment, the COVID-19 fatalities caseload has reached 4,669.
