Maoist leader Shrestha for strengthening party organization



KATHMANDU: Maoist Center Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said his party should not waste more time criticizing others by being reactionary and should move forward to strengthen the party organization.

Taking to social media Friday, Shrestha also congratulated the CPN-UML as talks between UML Chairman KP Oli and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal ended on a positive note Thursday, foiling the opposition alliance, comprising Nepali Congress, Maoists and Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Upendra Yadav faction, bid to stake a claim for a majority government.

He added that the Maoist Center should now launch a campaign to strengthen the party organization for by embracing patriotism, revolutionary ideology, and public service.

“We have to rise above ideological secrecy, disobedience to the rule of law, individualism, narrow-mindedness, pluralism, factionalism, corruption and be determined to fight against it,” shared Shrestha.

He also urges party rank and file to actively fight in the battle against coronavirus.
