UML leaders scheduled to hold talks Friday evening



KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN-UML is holding a meeting of both the factions of the party on Friday evening.

The Madhav Kumar Nepal faction of the party, which had earlier decided to oust Prime Minister KP Oli from the post and prevent him from becoming the Prime Minister again, emphasized on dialogue to resolve the differences.

On Thursday, the three-hour-long talks between PM Oli and UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal remained fruitful with both sides maintaining flexibility.

According to party sources, even though the meeting has been scheduled for 6 pm Friday, the venue is yet to be fixed.

Meanwhile, PM Oli and UML Chairman Oli, senior leaders Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal, and other leaders Bishnu Poudel, Subash Nemwang and Shankar Pokharel are scheduled to participate in the talks.
