Chitwan prolongs enforcement of prohibitory order up to May 26

CHITWAN: The District Administration Office Chitwan has prolonged the enforcement of prohibitory order up to May 26 with the rise in the outbreak of coronavirus transmission. The order has been enforced in Chitwan since April 27.

The prohibitory order imposed in the first phase is expiring from 12.00 tonight. According to the order issued by Chief District Officer Premlal Lamichhane, the duration of the enforcement has been extended as per the decision of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (DCMC).

He share that the decision was made to prolong the enforcement for two more weeks with a conclusion that the first round prohibitory order was helpful in containing the spread of coronavirus.
