Govt allows flights to rescue foreigners stranded in Nepal



KATHMANDU: The Nepal government has given permission to conduct flights to rescue foreigners stranded in Nepal due to prohibitory orders.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has decided to allow operation of flights to rescue foreigners stranded in Nepal.

According to this decision, Shree Airlines is conducting a flight from Kathmandu to Bangkok today to rescue Thai people.

Similarly, Qatar Airways will conduct flights on May 16 and May 25 to rescue American citizens.

Likewise, Turkish Airlines will conduct a flight on May 17 to rescue American people stranded here in Nepal.
