COVID-19: India records new 343,288 cases, 3,999 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 343,288 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 24,046,120.

Currently, 3,710,403 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 20,073,367 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 262,300-mark.

With 3,999 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 262,350, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,358,144 and infected 161,816,645 globally until the filing of this news.
