COVID-19: India records 185,248 infections, 1,026 deaths in past 24 hrs



NEW DELHI: India recorded 185,248 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 13,871,321.

Currently, 1,366,518 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 12,332,688 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 172,000-mark.

With 1,026 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 172,115, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
