WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 30,043,115 in the United States of America after 48,261 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 7,388,481 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 22,108,077 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 546,557 with 989 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,658,871 and infected 120,034,627 globally until the filing of this news.
