PARBAT: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the court’s decision process should not be influenced by street protests.

Speaking at the 18th memorial assembly of martyr Haridatta Tiwari held at Shankarpokhari, President Deuba said that if the demand is met from the streets, the justification of the court will end.

Deuba said that the party would accept the decision of the court even if it was a mistake to dissolve the parliament.

Stating that the independent judiciary should be allowed to function on its own, Deuba argued that NC was committed to an independent judiciary.
